Temporary Accounts Payable Assistant

Hutcheon Mearns are delighted to be recruiting on behalf of their exclusive client based in Dunfermline for a temporary Accounts Payable Assistant to help the organisation due to a backlog of work. They will consider both full time or part time options ranging from 20 - 35 hours a week to suit the successful candidates requirements. This position will pay £13.00 - £15.00 per hour depending on experience.

The Opportunity

We are looking for an experienced Finance Assistant who has dealt with a high volume of purchase ledger invoices. You will complete accurate data entry, processing of supplier invoices and payments during a busy period. You will work in a fast paced environment with a high level of accuracy and efficiency.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Processing supplier invoices accurately in a timely manner
  • Accurate data entry
  • Reconcile supplier statements
  • Weekly payment runs
  • Any other finance or administrative duties required

The Candidate

  • You will have previous experience in accounts payable or in a finance administration role
  • You will have strong attention to detail and accuracy skills
  • You will have working knowledge of Excel
  • You will have an ability to work on your own and as part of a team

Renumeration and Benefits

  • £13 - £15 per hour depending on experience 
  • Flexible full time or part time hours
  • On-site role in Dunfermline
  • Temporary position for a minimum of 8 weeks
