Tax Analyst

Hutcheon Mearns is working with a Private Equity backed, high growth, multi-national organisation to source a full time, permanent Tax Analyst. Our client has received significant investment to transform its operations and has ambitious growth plans.

Key Responsibilities: 

Reporting to the Regional Tax Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for assisting with the preparation of VAT returns, Corporate Tax analysis and preparation, global tax administration, global tax reporting and audit preparation.

Background and Experience

Applications are sought from Tax Analysts / Tax Assistants within either a practice and/ or industry setting, oil and gas experience is essential.

To be considered, you will have experience with tax compliance obligations, tax reporting and other commercial tax advice. Applicants will have a keen interest in improving their own technical knowledge and be capable of working autonomously to complete assignments.

The ability to consolidate a large volume of data, prioritise tasks effectively and interpret, clarify and explain rationale is advantageous.
