Hutcheon Mearns are supporting a large international energy services business to source a Senior Manager - Technical Accounting and External Reporting based in London. This is a key senior position in the finance team, leading on all technical accounting and financial reporting matters for the Group.
Responsibilities:
- Taking ownership of the Group's multi-currency consolidation process using Oracle Financial Consolidation and Close Cloud (“FCCS”)
- Leading all technical accounting and financial reporting matters for the operating and reporting segments within the Group
- Preparation of bi-annual Group consolidated financial statements and preparation/review of subsidiary financial statements
- Ensure that the Group’s financial controls framework is designed and operationally effective
- Leading UK SOX implementation for the Group
The successful candidate will be a Qualified Accountant with a minimum of 10 years post qualifying experience. You will have a deep knowledge of IFRS and be experienced in leading the preparation and analysis of consolidated financial statements. You will have been involved in complex group consolidations/audits and have exceptional communication and leadership skills.
