Hutcheon Mearns are supporting a leading, globally respected organisation in North Fife as they seek to appoint a Senior Management Accountant to join their high-performing Finance Business Partnering team.  This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified Accountant who thrives on collaboration, enjoys producing financial information to support strategic decision-making, and is passionate about driving continuous improvement within a complex and dynamic environment.

This is a new role created to add capacity to the team to continue to provide high levels of finance business partnering support.  You'll be working with a best-in-class finance team in a market-leading organisation, gaining exposure to strategic and high-impact systems transformation projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build strong relationships with senior stakeholders across operational and professional services team
  • Deliver high-quality financial insight, reporting and analysis to support strategic and operational decision making
  • Lead the annual budget and forecasting process for your business areas, ensuring robust financial plans are developed and maintained

  • Month-end income and expenditure reporting and variance analysis
  • Preparation of capital appraisals in relation to projects in the capital plan
  • Manage and mentor a Finance Assistant
  • Input into external statutory reporting as required

The Candidate

You will be/have:

  • A qualified Accountant with relevant post-qualification experience
  • A proven track record of delivering finance business partnering within a sizeable, complex organisation (your role may not have been called "Business Partner" - Management Accountant, Analysts and Accounts Seniors often have these skills!)
  • Strong analytical skills and advanced Excel capability
  • Pro-active, problem solving approach and ability to influence non-finance stakeholders
  • Experience with ERP systems (Oracle Cloud highly desirable)

On Offer?

  • Salary up to £53,000 with structured pay progression
  • Hybrid working (minimum 2 days per week in office)
  • Generous benefits package, including 34 days annual leave + 5 public holidays, excellent pension and relocation support
  • Access to a wide range of wellbeing, professional development and lifestyle benefits
  • The chance to work within a purpose-driven, internationally recognised organisation that values innovation, collaboration and excellence
