The Opportunity
The role of Senior Fund Accountant - Private Equity will report into the Divisional Director. The successful individual will prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports for a range of Fund Managers, providing commentary and decision support where necessary.
Your role will include:
- Production of quarterly management packs for Fund Managers including commentary
- Preparation of statutory accounts for Trusts, Small Limited Companies, and LLPs ensuring all disclosures are correct
- Preparation and submission of indirect tax returns
- Calculating fund drawdown, equalisation and distributions, and partnering with the investors on all matters
- Partnering with clients to drive improvements, challenging where necessary
- Other ad hoc duties as required
Background and Experience
The business is keen to speak to individuals with the following profile:
- Hold an accountancy qualification (ICAS, ACCA, CIMA etc.)
- Experience of using accounting software (Sage, Xero, Quickbooks etc.) – desirable
- Knowledge or experience of the financial service industry – desirable
- University degree with a minimum of a 2:1 at honours
- Strong communicator and able to challenge stakeholders at a senior level
Flexibility and Benefits
The role of Senior Fund Accountant - Private Equity is offering the following package:
- £50,000 to £55,000 per annum (depending on experience)
