Senior FP&A

Hutcheon Mearns are exclusively engaged to recruit Senior FP&A Analyst for a highly acquisitive Private Equity backed business which provides services to the offshore energy industry, both in renewables and oil and gas. With a successful track record, a commitment to innovation and an ambitious growth strategy, this is an exciting business offering great career development opportunities.

The Opportunity

The Senior FP&A Analyst is primarily responsible for analysing financial and operational results at the Group level to better understand overall company performance. • Working with the Business Unit Heads to build their annual budgets and forecasts, consolidating them into one overall budget
  • Work closely with Regional Business units to collate and analyse monthly information packs
  • Work closely with the Senior Finance Team and Senior Management to deliver weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual KPI’s
  • Assist with detailed analysis and commentary on Business Unit results
  • Liaising with Senior Management to prepare the business’s financial and strategic plans
  • Comparing and evaluating previous budgets, forecasts and prior year results, and performing variance analysis to explain differences in performance and make improvements
  • Ad-hoc reporting: preparation of financial information as may be required by Senior Management and Stakeholders
  • IT systems: identity opportunities to streamline and develop financial and other reporting systems across the group
