Hutcheon Mearns are looking to recruit an ambitious finance professional to join our growing Insights team. The Insights service line focuses on business intelligence, financial process improvement and automation. Due to business expansion, we are looking for a determined and professional individual to help bring the service line’s benefits to a wider audience.
The individual will work closely with the Head of Insights to help grow the service line across the Central Belt and lead business intelligence projects to our varied client-base.
The successful candidate will be an Accountant (either qualified or qualified by experience) with at least five years’ experience and will have at least two years’ experience in using Microsoft Power BI. Strong data modelling skills, ETL skills and DAX knowledge are key for this role. Strong knowledge of key financial processes including budgeting, forecasting and month-end reporting are also essential for this position. The individual will be comfortable leading client meetings and able to effectively market the Insights proposition.
Face to face client meetings will be part of the role, so while we are happy to consider remotely based candidates, you must be able to regularly attend meetings in the Central Belt.

Essential:
- Qualified accountant (qualified by experience considered)
