Hutcheon Mearns are supporting an established firm of accountants to add an additional Senior Accountant to the team. The firm has clients from self-employed individuals to SME and large multinational businesses. Providing financial advice and accountancy services including Taxation, Audits, Payroll, Bookkeeping and future business planning.
The Opportunity
Based in Dundee and part of an established team the role would be varied, and responsibilities include:
- Preparation of annual accounts for sole traders, limited companies, and partnerships.
- Preparation of tax returns
- Assisting with planning and undertaking audits.
- Establish a strong working relationship with clients,
- Coaching and supporting junior members of the team on a day-to-day basis.
- Supporting Managers and Directors to grow the firm.
Background and Experience
Candidates must be able to demonstrate:
- Part or recently ACCA / CA qualified, having strong general practice experience.
- Accounts preparation experience and skills within a professional practice.
- Strong client relationship building and being commercially aware
- Organised able to meet responsibilities within tight deadlines.
- IT experience including Excel, Sage, Xero.
The firm offers an attractive salary £ 30,000 - £ 35,000 + study support if required. Real opportunities to progress within the firm.
