Hutcheon Mearns are pleased to be supporting a long-established manufacturer in Perth to recruit a new member of the finance team. Covering Sales Ledger and Credit Control and assisting colleagues during busy times as required. Strong credit control is a key element of a healthy cash flow. The main duties will be:
- Reviewing and processing account applications, taking references where necessary.
- Undertaking credit checks on new and existing customers.
- Releasing credit customer orders for production or despatch.
- Keeping in contact with customers to notify outstanding amounts and manage collection
- Working with the sales department to recover overdue debt.
- Preparing a weekly aged debt report, review, and chasing up as appropriate
Candidates will be considered who can demonstrate
- Previous sales ledger / credit control experience.
- Good communication skills.
- Able to work accurately to deadlines.
- Good at working as part of a team.
- Strong IT skills including MS Office.
