The business, renowned for its rich and deep history within Edinburgh, operates extensively across the United Kingdom. Due to significant growth, the organisation is seeking a Purchase Ledger Controller to join its finance team.
The Opportunity
The Purchase Ledger Controller role will report to the Finance Manager and will assume full responsibility for the Accounts Payable function within the organisation. While extensive experience in Accounts Payable is essential, this role will also provide support to the broader finance function with Accounts Receivable duties. Your role will include:
- Processing and coding all invoices
- Payment runs (BACS and cheques)
- Dealing with supplier queries
- Processing staff expenses
- Reconciling credit cards
- Creating and sending sales invoices
- Vendor data management
- Processing payments
Background and Expertise
Our client is keen to speak to individuals with the following profile:
- Three years experience in a similar role
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (including vLookups and Pivot Tables)
- Professional communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team as well as independently
Flexibility and Benefits
The role of Purchase Ledger Controller is offering the following package:
- Salary from £28,000 to £32,000 per annum (DOE)
- Very Flexible working environment
