The Opportunity
As a Project Accounts Assistant, you will undertake a varied role focusing on various on-going projects the organisation is involved in. Within your remit you'll be focusing on Accounts Payable across various SPVs. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Processing purchase invoices
- Managing weekly payment runs (both domestic and international)
- Maintaining the finance mailbox
- Addressing and resolving queries
- Performing bank reconciliations
- Handling intercompany transactions
- Conducting credit card reconciliations
Background and Experience
The ideal candidate will have prior experience as a Finance Assistant, with a solid understanding of the Accounts Payable function and familiarity with bank reconciliations and intercompany transactions. This role offers the opportunity for professional development. Key personal qualifications include:
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Experience with ERP systems
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (including vLookup and Pivot Tables)
- Professional communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team as well as independently
