Hutcheon Mearns are partnered with a private equity backed, diversified engineering business to recruit an experienced Project Accountant. Our client has offices across the UK and this role will join their Glasgow based team. In this role, you will be responsible for continuous measurement, analysis, forecasting and reporting of project cost, cash and revenues, for monitoring and recording changes as well as implementation of aligned project specific strategies for cost control. The Project Accountant is responsible for all the financial aspects of a project and ensuring the financial information aligns to the latest project schedule.
Candidates qualified by experience or those with an accounting qualification will be considered but experience working within oil and gas, manufacturing or an engineering business is required.
