Hutcheon Mearns have been engaged to source experienced Project Accountants at all levels to join the operations and finance team at a global oil and gas company in Aberdeen. These staff roles will support with and maintain responsibility for reporting monthly management accounts for group entities, maintenance of the general ledger, supporting with corporate reporting, and audit and tax requirements.
The ideal candidate will have experience in an operational or project facing role, be confident liaising with all business partners globally and performing the full scope of tasks required. The team regularly work to tight deadlines so the incumbent must be confident operating efficiently and independently. Applicants must possess high levels of accuracy and problem-solving skills, along with strong communication skills to liaise with Senior Management and business partners regularly.
