Payroll Specialist
Location: Glasgow (Hybrid)
Hours: Mon–Fri, 9am–5:30pm | Full-time, Permanent
Are you a skilled Payroll Specialist looking for a role that gives you flexibility, balance, and the chance to work as part of a growing international team? Our client – a dynamic organisation that has recently expanded its global footprint – is looking for an experienced payroll professional to join them on their next exciting chapter.
What You’ll Be Doing
In this role, you’ll play a key part in delivering smooth, accurate monthly payrolls across both UK and global teams. You’ll be the go-to person for payroll queries, help maintain compliance, and support the integration of a newly acquired business into the wider payroll function.
Your day-to-day will include:

Processing monthly payrolls with accuracy and efficiency

Ensuring compliance with tax, NI, statutory deductions, and payroll legislation

Updating and maintaining employee payroll records

Assisting with reconciliations and payroll reporting

Supporting the transition of a new global payroll function

Working closely with HR, Finance, and external partners

Delivering friendly, helpful support to employees
About You
You’ll thrive in this role if you have:

Proven experience in payroll processing (multi-country experience is a bonus, but UK payroll experience is absolutely welcomed)

Strong working knowledge of payroll legislation

Fantastic attention to detail

Confidence using payroll systems and Excel

Great communication and organisational skills
