Hutcheon Mearns are working with a Private Equity backed, high growth, multi-national organisation to recruit an interim finance professional to provide support on a key project. Working closely with the senior finance team, this project will involve the review of the business’ intercompany process, followed by a clean up, redesign and roll out of a new and improved process.
This project is anticipated to take approximately six months, however there is potential that it could be extended to play a role in complementary projects within the finance transformation program.
The Opportunity
The role would involve liaising with a global finance team and can be delivered largely remotely with occasional travel to London/Aberdeen. Using your experience of playing a lead role in process improvement projects, you will take ownership of the intercompany process, interfacing with multiple other functions including tax, treasury, legal etc to deliver the improvement. This will involve a deep dive on current process, identification of issues, clean up and then redesign and roll out.
Background and Experience
- CA/ACA or equivalent
- Significant experience within the finance function of an international organisation
- Understanding of fit for purpose intercompany processes and the ability to design and implement change
- Demonstrable project management skills
- Proficiency in financial software and ERP systems
- A self-starter who is comfortable dealing with and resolving ambiguity
- Methodical, process and results oriented
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, a strong relationship builder
- Experience with intercompany transactions and FX reconciliations

This role can be done on a remote basis.
