Reporting into the Group Finance Director, this is a key role in the Group Finance team. The Opportunity:
The Group Finance Manager is responsible for overseeing the comprehensive, accurate, timely recording, collation and preparation of the Group Management Accounts and Company Accounts to comply with all financial, legal and internal company deadlines and requirements.
- Reviewing the timely and accurate preparation and submission of the Group monthly management accounts
- Reviewing the timely and accurate preparation and submission of monthly management accounts, supporting balance sheet reconciliations and income statement analysis for a number of entities
- Reviewing the timely and accurate preparation and submission of the Flash reporting for the Group
- Review, analysis, interpretation and communication of monthly regional reporting submissions, including balance sheet reconciliations, variance analysis and commentary, and participation in monthly review calls
- Review, analysis, interpretation and communication of monthly Regional and project accounting submissions, including participation in monthly review calls
- Reviewing the timely and accurate preparation and submission of weekly Accounts Receivable trackers for the Group, including analysis, interpretation and communication
- Reviewing the timely and accurate preparation and submission of the weekly Capex Tracker for the Group, including analysis, interpretation and communication
- Preparation and submission of the bi-weekly rolling 12 week cashflow forecast for the Group, including analysis, interpretation and communication
- Ensuring the timely and accurate preparation of annual and quarterly statutory reporting requirements including liaison with the external audit team.
- Assisting in the preparation of tax compliance including liaison with external advisors
- Primary finance contact for Group management accountants and assisting in their continued development
- Reviewing process and controls and assisting in accounting systems and process improvements across the Group
Background and Experience:
