Hutcheon Mearns are supporting a global subsea and energy company to recruit an experienced Group Reporting Accountant into their corporate finance team. Within this staff role, you will be responsible for the following tasks:
- Working with Group Reporting team and regional finance teams on monthly financial close
- Review and analysis of group net working capital, FX and CTA, and provisions
- Management and review of group NCI and JVs
- Management and review of Group IFRS 16 adjustments
- Preparation of monthly and quarterly reports for senior management regarding the financial performance of the Group
- Preparation of quarterly Audit Committee Financial Report
- Build on relationship and communication of analysis with regional finance teams
- Identifying and implementing process improvements
- Focus on controls and collaboration within the finance community, including, Financial Planning & Analysis, External Reporting, Tax, Treasury, the Finance Resource Centre and Regional Finance Teams
- Liaise with internal and external auditors
- Support in the preparation of the Annual Report and Consolidated Financial Statements
Applicants must be a qualified or part qualified accountant with a good understanding of IFRS and have knowledge related to preparation of consolidated financial statements.
