Hutcheon Mearns are delighted to be working alongside a prestigious Food & Drink company in Dundee to recruit for a Finance Assistant on a full-time, permanent basis. You will join an organisation with a strong history in Dundee and in its industry. This is a fantastic opportunity for an individual with accounts experience, looking to take on a varied and interesting role.
The Opportunity
Reporting to the Finance Director, as the Finance Assistant, your role with involve:
- Maintaining financial systems, data entry and financial administration
- Purchase invoices
- Petty cash receipts
- Supplier payment management
- Processing, scanning and filing invoices
- Bank reconciliations
- Credit control of sales ledger
- Payroll - weekly and monthly (including overtime)
- Database entry for suppliers
- Admin support for Head of Finance
The Candidate
You will ideally have proven experience of working in a varied role within a finance team and will have experience and knowledge of Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Credit Control and Payroll processes. Experience in Sage finance system, would be advantageous.
You will enjoy working within a team environment, and be a pro-active individual who embraces problem solving to reach deadlines.
Terms and Benefits
- Salary on offer of £28,000 - £30,000 per year
- On-site Parking
- Full time hours of - 8am - 3pm (Apr - Sept) and 8am - 4pm (Oct - Mar)
