Economics Manager

Hutcheon Mearns are partnering with a leading Private Equity backed oil and gas operator to attract an experienced finance professional into their Aberdeen based team. Our client is looking to recruit an ambitious and determined individual into the role of Financial Controller. Our client offers a professional and collaborative culture within a prestigious city centre setting.

Consideration will be given to driven individuals with a proven track record of achievement with a minimum of four years post qualification experience. The successful candidate will be a qualified CA, preferably from a ‘Big 4’ background. Candidates must have a proactive attitude and display superior communication and interpersonal skills. Strong financial accounting skills are required and previous experience in a in an operator role would be highly advantageous.

Overview

• Lead economic analysis for all growth activities
• Accountable for the development and operation of financial planning and modelling tools
• Generate economic analysis to screen potential new business and business development opportunities
• Support the development of business cases to define future investments options
• Lead the business plan process
• Manage all data associated with updating, maintaining and reviewing the life-of-asset Business Plan
• Life of Field (LoF) throughput assumptions across all hubs
• Life of Field (LoF) opex, capex and abex assumptions
• Support the process, delivery and approval of the annual WP&B and quarterly reforecasts
• Lead the revenue analysis
