Hutcheon Mearns are working with an oil service company focusing heavily on renewable energy to recruit a Cost Controller. This full time, permanent role is based in Bridge of Don with hybrid working and flexible hours. Successful candidates must have extensive cost control experience in a similar area. You must have excellent attention to detail and the ability to prioritise your workload to meet strict deadlines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Financial oversight of projects, with responsibility for providing Service Line Management with accurate and timely financial information
- Supporting budgeting, forecasting, and reporting requirements
- Ensuring integrity and accuracy of all accounting transactions
- Act as a sounding board and business partner to the team and other key stakeholders
- Support the Project Management Team to ensure a sound project management and control culture is in place
- Drive the monthly project reporting and project review process with support of Project Managers
- Assisting with the preparation and monitoring of CAPEX and Working Capital management
- Promote adherence to revenue recognition procedures
- Responsible for monitoring the accuracy and upkeep of manpower and equipment rates
