Hutcheon Mearns are working with an established retail and distribution group to add to the commercial finance team in Dundee, Supporting the commercial and operational teams, providing information to assist business decisions. The company has invested in IT and analytical tools to enhance regular reporting. This role will work with all areas of the business to design reporting. Reporting to the Commercial Finance Manager responsibilities will be varied including:
- Financial evaluations of business projects and initiatives
- Ongoing analysis on projects to ensure performance
- Assisting with budgeting and forecasting.
- Supporting the monthly, quarterly and annual forecast process.
- Working closely with the finance team.
Candidates will be considered who can demonstrate the skills and experience needed
- Part or fully qualified CA/ACCA/CIMA.
- Strong Excel & PowerPoint, experience of analytical database tools, such as Power BI would be advantageous.
- Strong communication skills, the role works with finance and non-finance colleagues
- Commercially aware, able to analyse complex data and produce succinct output.
