Audit Manager

The job opportunity

As an Audit Manager, you will thrive in a role supporting and nurturing a team, focusing on achieving excellent outcomes for clients and team members alike.  Every day will bring a new challenge and the varied client base will ensure your work is rich and interesting.  This organisation thrives on providing excellent service to clients and your role will involve client development as well as servicing client requirements. 

On a day to day basis, you can expect to; 

  • Manage the allocation of audit work and plan audits with team members
  • Engage directly with clients on accounting / audit and technical queries 
  • Support your team from planning through to audit completion 
  • Review work and ensure agreed deadlines are achieved 
  • Provide assignment feedback to team members to ensure ongoing development and high performance 

The successful candidate

You will be fully qualified CA / ACCA or equivalent and have experience of the full audit cycle from planning to leading to completion.  You will have a proven track record of managing staff and will have evidence of enhancing performance through coaching and mentoring.  You will have an ability to build relationships quickly and accustomed to liaising with a range of key stakeholders.  You will be IT savvy, comfortable and adaptable with a variety of software packages and able to navigate systems effectively.  You will have strong organisational skills and be committed to your own CPD - showing enthusiasm for learning and development - for yourself and your team.  If you have an inquisitive mind, are enthusiastic in your client and team engagement and have a strong team player, this could be the ideal environment for you!
