Role profile
The role of Assistant Accountant will report into a Finance Manager. The successful individual will assist with the month, quarterly and annual financial reporting for several clients. You will be involved in but not limited to the following duties:
- Assist with the production of quarterly management packs
- Assist with the preparation of statutory accounts
- Preparation of monthly bank reconciliations
- Preparation and submission of indirect tax returns
- Calculating fund drawdown, equalisation and distributions, and partnering with the investors on all matters
- Partnering with clients to drive improvements, challenging where necessary
Person specification
The business is keen to speak to individuals with the following profile:
- Registered and working towards a chartered accountancy qualification (ICAS, ACCA, CIMA etc.)
- Experience of using accounting software (Sage, Xero, Quickbooks etc.)
- Strong communicator and able to challenge stakeholders at a senior level
- Exposure to management accounts before

- Salary up to £40,000
