Hutcheon Mearns have exclusively engaged with a successful and growing organisation to recruit an Assistant Accountant on a permanent basis. Our client is based in Aberdeen City Centre and can offer part-time hours, additional flexibility and an excellent remuneration package.
The Assistant Accountant is a varied role assisting the Financial Controller and other members of the finance team with day-to-day financial running of the Finance Department.
The successful candidate will have experience in a similar role and will be friendly, confident, and enthusiastic to join an exciting business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Payments and Treasury
- Month End Close
- Joint Venture Billings
- Accounts Payable
Skills and Experience:
- SUN experience
- Degree educated or equivalent experience
- Good practical accounting knowledge to understand all processes
- Previously worked in an Accounts payable function, ideally providing transactional accounting support
