Hutcheon Mearns are engaged on an exclusive basis to recruit an experienced finance professional into this staff role. Our client is a local privately-owned business who is looking to hire an experienced Assistant Accountant.  

To be considered you must be comfortable handling transactional accounting duties including sales ledger and purchase ledger, credit control and payroll. In addition, you will be responsible for supporting with VAT returns, posting journals, bank reconciliations and undertaking all administrative tasks. Candidates with a background in an SME environment who are comfortable operating within a standalone role are encouraged to apply.

The successful candidate will be accustomed to liaising with external business partners. You will thrive working in a challenging environment where no two days are the same.
