Hutcheon Mearns are delighted to be recruiting for an Accounts Assistant, to be based within the Treasury Team of an oil service company with a heavy focus on renewable energy. This is a full time, temporary position and will be based from our client’s office in Bridge of Don. Reporting to the Treasury Accountant, you will play a key role in supporting with the processing, managing and payment of the employee expenses.

The Opportunity 

The Accounts Assistant will be working closely with the Treasury Accountant and Accounts Assistants, to ensure all tasks are completed accurately and to required deadlines.

  • Processing employee personal expense claims
  • Processing company Barclaycard expenses
  • Dealing with expense and Barclaycard queries
  • Assist with the payment of employee expenses
  • Assist with the preparation of monthly reconciliations.

Background and Experience

The successful candidate will have a keen eye for detail, be able to use initiative and have excellent communication skills. This role would suit someone early on in their career looking for their first position within a busy finance team. Candidates with experience in a similar role are also encouraged to apply.
