Hutcheon Mearns are engaged to support a global business within the energy industry to recruit an experienced Accountant. This diverse and challenging role within a professional team will focus on process improvement to establish best practice and standardisation.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the preparation of the monthly reporting pack for cost centers looking at variance analysis, standard costing, LTF forecast and the preparation of bottom-up budgets in line with GAAP.
To be considered, you must be a self-starter, highly analytical and at the final stages of a professional accountancy qualification or a fully qualified Accountant (CA/ACCA/CIMA). Relevant experience within a similar environment is essential as is a working knowledge of chart of accounts, legal entity, or management reporting structures.
You will have the ability to create complex models using macros and have a working knowledge of using Business Objects Financial Consolidation (BFC).
